You will also need to cut longer pieces of wood to lay on your support brackets and secure them with nails. Place the remainder of the wood at the end of the crossing supports and secure them. The last piece of the frame is to be attached to the front of the work bench using nails to support and secure it.
Lastly, you must use a saw on your particle board and cut it to match the size of your frame. The best way to do this is to cut the board in half length ways. Place the two halves on top of each other and then onto your frame and secure them nails. This will give you a strong table top surface.
